Privacy Policy

Summary

LifePilot AI is a personal organizer. We store the items you add — bills, subscriptions, appointments, and tasks — so we can show them back to you and generate a daily briefing. We do not sell your data, and we do not show you ads.

What we collect

• Account info: email, display name, and (if you use Google sign-in) the basic profile fields Google returns.
• App content: bills, subscriptions, appointments, tasks, and any notes you add.
• Voice input: short audio clips you record for the AI assistant. These are transcribed and then discarded.
• Waitlist email: if you join the waitlist on our landing page.

How we use it

• To run the core product — show your items, send reminders, generate the daily briefing.
• To improve the app's reliability and fix bugs.
• To send transactional email from notify.lifepilotai.com (reminders, account notices). We do not send marketing email without your opt-in.

Legal basis for processing (UK/EEA)

• Contract: processing your account, items, and subscription so we can deliver the Service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interests: keeping the Service secure, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving reliability.
• Consent: optional features such as voice input and marketing email — you can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation: tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of subprocessors to operate the service:

• Stripe.com: our reseller and Merchant of Record for all paid subscriptions. Stripe handles payment processing, billing, sales tax/VAT, invoicing, and refund requests on our behalf. See Stripe's privacy notice.
• Lovable Cloud (Supabase): database, authentication, and file storage.
• Lovable AI Gateway (Google Gemini, OpenAI): powers the assistant, transcription, and text-to-speech. Prompts and audio are sent to these providers only to fulfill your request and are not used to train their models under our agreement.
• Lovable Email: delivers transactional email from our domain.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone. Some of these providers process data outside your country (including the US); where required we rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.

Data retention

• Account & app content: retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we must keep records to comply with law (e.g. tax/accounting records held by Stripe for up to 7 years).
• Voice clips: discarded immediately after transcription — not stored.
• Waitlist email: kept until you ask us to remove it or until the beta program ends.
• Backups & logs: rotated out within 90 days.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an access-controlled database with row-level security so that you can only read and modify your own rows. Passwords are hashed by our auth provider; we never see them in plain text.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Export your data as CSV from the dashboard.
• Delete any item, or your entire account, by emailing privacy@lifepilotai.com.
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Residents of the EU/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA) have additional rights including objection, restriction, and portability. Email the address above to exercise them.

Children

LifePilot AI is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you by email and update the date above.
